Let us pray for everyone

God has called us to take a stand and appeal to Him on behalf of our country. And as we courageously fight the battle for the soul of our country on our knees, we must remember that He continues to rule over the affairs of this nation and will hear us when we humble ourselves, turn from our sins, and seek His face.
May God unify our hearts and answer our cries for the spiritual well-being of the United States of America. And may our great nation return to the Lord, honoring Him from sea to shining sea.

Praying for our nation is not done only when the nation is in distress. We must pray for our nation and the world everyday even if Dr. Charles stanley doesn't suggests it. Actually in our church, our presiding Minister, Bro. Eli Soriano of the Members of Church of God International, taught us to pray for everybody whether they are members or non members of our church, whether our nation is ok or not. We pray for all of us. People must make it a habit to pray for everyone. But of course prayer must be done in repentance of our sins, humbly, obedience to God's words and faithfully. Thanking God that we received what we asked for in prayer and believing it.
